Student Government

  • All students of a given university form a student government.
  • The student government acts through its representatives in the bodies.
  • The bodies of the student self-government are the exclusive representative of all students of a higher education institution, including in matters related to the rights and duties of a student.
  • The student self-government is active in the university in the field of student affairs, including social and living conditions, cultural affairs and those related to ensuring the quality of education.
  • The student self-government decides on the distribution of funds allocated by the university for student affairs

  • It works to improve study conditions, organizes various initiatives and events, and ensures that student rights are upheld.

The main tasks of the university include:

  • Providing education in first-cycle, second-cycle, and unified master’s degree programs;
  • roviding education for doctoral students;
  • Conducting scientific activities;
  • Providing education in postgraduate studies or other forms of education.

Rights | Training on the rights and responsibilities of a student

A student has the right to training on student rights and responsibilities. Training is conducted by the student government in cooperation with the Parliament of Students of the Republic of Poland, hereafter referred to as the PSRP, which provides student government representatives with training and undertakes promotional activities regarding student rights and responsibilities.

The student is entitled to use the relief:

  • 50% in public transportation fares;
  • 51% discount on fares on PKP transportation until the age of 26.

Information on psychological support for university students

At Koszalin University of Technology: - A stationary and free psychological help desk is located on the campuses on Sniadeckich Street and Kwiatkowskiego Street

  • Students have the right to associate in university student organizations.
  • Student organizations can receive funds to carry out their tasks.
